SERVPRO Supports America During Porter Parade

The 4th of July is celebrated by millions of Americans each year, as we remember how we earned our freedom and became a country. Naturally, it is a day of pride for all Americans, but it also serves as a day to bring families together. Many families have a barbeque or go on a picnic, enjoying fireworks and other celebratory activities with each other.

Here at SERVPRO of Porter County, we like to include ourselves in local festivities, and show our support for our country and the men who fight to keep it free and safe.  La Porte has one of the largest 4th of July celebrations in the state of Indiana, and we have been celebrating with other locals for four years in a row. The owners of SERVPRO of Porter county, Sean and Tiffany Mitchell love to participate and help their team create a float for the parade each year.

Each year our own Casey Conklin dresses up as our mascot and makes the children laugh as he dances and celebrates. This year, he dressed up at Marshall from Paw Patrol and brought smiles to the faces of children, as well as adults. It is an honor to be close to our community and make the day enjoyable, alongside everyone else participating.

Here at SERVPRO, we try to be involved with our community as much as possible, because we understand how meaningful our relationship with our neighbors is. We often work closely with local organizations like Play for Jake, the Wounded Warrior Project, and Little wish, along with others, to try and make a difference in our community.

We come to the parade each year to celebrate our country with our friends, family, and neighbors, letting them know we care about them and that we're more than just a company. When you call SERVPRO for help, we want you to feel confident that we can help you. It is always our goal to leave you with a smile and feeling great about the work we did together. Getting out into the community helps us get to know you and show support.

It has been a pleasure and an honor to be included in La Porte's yearly 4th of July celebration. We are proud to be included and to show our support to the men and women who fight to keep our country and home free.
